Nasal vs Injectable MT2
Nasal MT2 removes the needle and introduces a different problem: you no longer know exactly how much arrived.
Why nasal delivery works at all
The nasal mucosa is thin, richly supplied with blood, and bypasses first-pass liver metabolism. Small peptides can cross it, which is why Selank and Semax are commonly used this way.
MT2 is small enough for this to be viable, hence nasal MT2 alongside the injectable pen.
The bioavailability problem
Injection delivers essentially all of it. Nasal delivery delivers some fraction, and that fraction varies with technique, congestion, whether you sniffed too hard and sent it down your throat, and the day.
So the trade is real: no needle, less certainty. For a compound where the difference between a reasonable amount and an unpleasant afternoon is small, that uncertainty matters. See Melanotan 2 explained.
Does it reduce side effects
Partly, and mostly by accident. Lower effective delivery means a gentler experience, which some people prefer. But that is a consequence of getting less rather than of a better delivery route.
Nausea and flushing still occur.
Practical technique
Head upright rather than tilted back, spray toward the outer wall of the nostril rather than straight up, and breathe gently rather than sniffing hard. Sniffing hard sends it past the absorptive surface and into the throat, where it is swallowed and destroyed.
Congestion substantially reduces absorption, so a cold means an unpredictable session.
Which to choose
The pen for consistency and for anyone who wants a known amount. Nasal for convenience and for people who will not inject, accepting that the amount delivered is an estimate.
The mole warning applies to both routes equally.
