Serialised & QR Verified

Kisspeptin-10 is the ten amino acid active fragment of kisspeptin, a protein encoded by the KISS1 gene. Its discovery reframed how the reproductive axis is understood: kisspeptin neurons in the hypothalamus sit upstream of GnRH release, which means they sit upstream of LH, FSH and therefore of testosterone and oestrogen production.
That upstream position is what makes it interesting compared with the compounds usually reached for. HCG acts downstream at the LH receptor on the testis, bypassing the axis entirely. Clomifene and tamoxifen act at the level of oestrogen feedback. Kisspeptin acts at the very top, on the neurons that set the pulse generator, and research has looked at whether that produces a more physiological pattern of release than a downstream signal does.
Published human work is genuinely present, largely from Imperial College London, covering pulsatile LH release, its use as a diagnostic tool in hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, and its investigation as a trigger in IVF protocols. The half life is very short, measured in minutes, which is the practical constraint that dominates the literature.
The pen format
A very short half life means the interesting research protocols involve small, frequent administrations rather than a single large one. Dialling 500mcg from a pen and putting it back in the fridge is a materially different proposition to reconstituting a vial and racing its stability clock.

Handling and storage

Choosing between Kisspeptin-10, HCG and HMG
All three touch the reproductive axis and they enter it at completely different points. HCG mimics LH at the testicular receptor, which is why it works even when the axis above it is fully suppressed: it does not need the signal, it replaces it. HMG adds FSH activity, which is the half HCG cannot supply.
Kisspeptin sits above both, acting on the hypothalamic neurons that drive GnRH. That makes it the wrong tool for a suppressed axis on cycle, because there is nothing downstream listening, and the reason its research clusters instead around diagnostics and around restarting a functioning system rather than substituting for a shut down one.

However, I feel the injection button mechanism could be improved, as it feels slightly flimsy when pressing down to release the solution. The dial/turning function also feels like it could be made more durable and sturdy. It would be great to see more needle heads included as standard, or alternatively have the option to purchase additional needles directly through your website for convenience. Overall, a good product with some small areas that could be improved to enhance the user experience.
