NAD+ 500mg in a pre-filled SerenQ injection pen. No reconstitution, no bacteriostatic water, no drawing up. Dial the units you need, read them off the window, done.
A new name in research peptides, landing in the UK
SerenQ Pharmaceuticals builds research compounds into sealed, pre-filled injection pens rather than lyophilised vials. No reconstitution, no bacteriostatic water, no guesswork with a syringe barrel. Dial the units you need, read them off the window, done.
SerenQ has appointed The Ped Shop as its exclusive UK stockist. Every pen sold here comes direct from the manufacturer, in sealed retail cartons, with a unique serial number and QR authenticity code on the label.

Third Party Testing
Every SerenQ batch is sent for independent analysis before it goes on general sale. Purity and identity testing for this batch is currently with Analiza, and the certificate will be published on this page the moment it lands.
Check back here for the full certificate, or ask us and we will send it over as soon as it is released.
Serialised & QR Verified
Every SerenQ product carries a unique serial number and a QR code printed on the label. Scan it with any phone camera and you can independently confirm the pen is genuine SerenQ stock and check its batch details before you open the carton.
One code per pen. Each one can only be registered once, so a duplicate scan is an immediate red flag.

NAD+, nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is the odd one out in this range. It is not a peptide at all but a coenzyme, and one that sits in every living cell on the planet. Its job is carrying electrons: it shuttles between an oxidised form, NAD+, and a reduced form, NADH, and that single switch drives a large share of the reactions that turn food into usable energy.
The research interest goes beyond metabolism. NAD+ is consumed as a substrate by two families of enzymes that get a lot of attention in ageing research, the sirtuins and the PARPs, which handle gene regulation and DNA repair respectively. Because those enzymes use the molecule up rather than simply borrowing it, cellular supply and demand becomes the story. Published work has reported that tissue levels decline substantially with age, and much of the current literature examines whether raising availability changes mitochondrial function, DNA repair capacity and metabolic markers.
The pen format
This is where SerenQ does things differently. Instead of a lyophilised powder that has to be reconstituted, NAD+ arrives as a solution already loaded into a graduated injection pen with a dial and a dose window.
- 500mg of NAD+ per pen, in solution and ready to use
- 1 unit = 1.67mg. 30 units on the dial gives 50mg
- 300 units in total, which works out at 10 full 50mg draws per pen
- Dial and dose window let you set the exact amount and read it back before dispensing
- 4 screw on pen tips supplied, individually sealed, 32G 0.23 x 4mm
- Protective cap, clip and a rigid retail carton for storage and transport
- Batch number, expiry and serial printed directly on the pen barrel, not just the box
Handling and storage
- Store refrigerated at 2 to 8°C. Do not freeze
- Keep in the outer carton, away from direct light
- Short periods at room temperature during transit are expected and normal
- Use a fresh sealed tip for each dispense and dispose of tips in a sharps container
- Expiry 12/2027 on sealed, correctly stored stock
- Keep out of reach of children and animals
What is in the box
- 1 × SerenQ NAD+ 500mg pre-filled injection pen
- 4 × sealed pen tips, 32G 0.23 x 4mm
- Serialised, QR coded retail carton
NAD+ against the other cellular energy options
NAD+ is a coenzyme required by the reactions that turn fuel into usable energy, and by the enzymes involved in cellular repair. Levels decline with age, which is the basis of the entire longevity interest in it.
Supplying it directly is the most straightforward approach in that category. MOTS-c takes a different route, it is a peptide encoded in mitochondrial rather than nuclear DNA, acting as a metabolic signal rather than as a substrate.
There is a third approach worth knowing about: rather than supplying more NAD+, 5-Amino-1MQ inhibits the enzyme that consumes its precursors. Same target, opposite direction, and orally active.
The 500mg on this pen reflects a compound used in far larger amounts than the peptides, it is not exceptional value by comparison, just a different scale. Work out cost per dose at the amount you actually intend to use.
