Which Peptide to Start With
The right first peptide depends on what you actually want, and the honest answer for several goals is that no peptide is the best tool.
Start with the goal, not the compound
The commonest mistake is picking something because it is discussed a lot, then working out afterwards what it is supposed to do.
If the goal is fat loss
A GLP-1, and it is not close. Nothing else in the category produces comparable documented results. See fat loss compounds compared and tirzepatide vs retatrutide.
Expect the gastrointestinal effects and expect to step up gradually, GLP-1 side effects explained.
If the goal is an injury
BPC-157 and TB500, usually together. See recovery peptides compared. Go in understanding the evidence is largely animal work.
If the goal is sleep or recovery generally
Fix sleep first, and melatonin is the cheap well-evidenced starting point for a timing problem. See melatonin and sleep. Nothing else in this category compensates for chronic poor sleep.
If the goal is GH support
Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 is the standard entry point, a pairing rather than a single compound, for mechanistic reasons. Actual GH is a bigger and more expensive commitment.
Why format matters more than people expect
A pre-filled pen removes reconstitution, the volume decision and the guesswork of drawing tiny amounts. For a first peptide that eliminates most of the ways this goes wrong. See peptide pens vs vials and your first week with a peptide pen.
One at a time
Start with one thing so you can attribute what happens. Stacking three unfamiliar compounds means learning nothing about any of them.
