Serialised & QR Verified
Every SerenQ product carries a unique serial number and a QR code printed on the label. Scan it with any phone camera and you can independently confirm the pen is genuine SerenQ stock and check its batch details before you open the carton.
One code per pen. Each one can only be registered once, so a duplicate scan is an immediate red flag.

MITO combines three compounds that all act on mitochondrial function, each at a different point, which is the reason they are put together rather than chosen between.
SS-31 works structurally. It concentrates inside the mitochondrion and binds cardiolipin, the phospholipid that organises the inner membrane, with the aim of restoring the geometry the electron transport chain depends on. MOTS-c is a mitochondrial derived peptide, encoded in mitochondrial rather than nuclear DNA, and acts as a signalling molecule influencing AMPK activation and metabolic homeostasis. NAD+ is the substrate side of the equation: the coenzyme that the electron transport chain and the sirtuins both require, and which declines measurably with age.
So the blend addresses membrane structure, metabolic signalling and coenzyme availability in one cartridge. NAD+ dominates by mass at 200mg because it is used in far larger quantities than the two peptides, not because it is the primary component.
The pen format
Three compounds with quite different dose scales in one cartridge, where a single dial position gives all three in fixed proportion. Each unit delivers 33mcg each of SS-31 and MOTS-c alongside 0.67mg of NAD+.

Handling and storage
- Store refrigerated at 2 to 8°C. Do not freeze
- Keep in the outer carton, away from direct light
- Short periods at room temperature during transit are expected and normal
- Use a fresh sealed tip for each dispense and dispose of tips in a sharps container
- Expiry 12/2027 on sealed, correctly stored stock
- Keep out of reach of children and animals

Choosing between MITO and the single compound pens
MITO is the convenient option, not the concentrated one. The SS-31 pen holds 50mg against MITO’s 10mg, the MOTS-c pen holds 40mg against 10mg, and the NAD+ pen holds 500mg against 200mg. If you have decided one of the three is what you want, the single compound pen gives you far more of it per pound.
MITO makes sense when the interest is mitochondrial function generally rather than one mechanism, when you would otherwise be buying and rotating three pens, or when you want the ratio held constant rather than drifting as three pens empty at different rates.

However, I feel the injection button mechanism could be improved, as it feels slightly flimsy when pressing down to release the solution. The dial/turning function also feels like it could be made more durable and sturdy. It would be great to see more needle heads included as standard, or alternatively have the option to purchase additional needles directly through your website for convenience. Overall, a good product with some small areas that could be improved to enhance the user experience.
